Baseball Pitching Instruction

With a few throwing lessons you will immediately accelerate your son's overall pitching performance faster than you ever thought possible. Here are some of the things we teach in our pitching program.

Pitching Mechanics

Learning the proper and efficient movements needed to generate and transfer energy from all parts of the body and transferring it into the ball.

Pitch Control

Good pitch control starts with having good pitching mechanics. A consistent release point stems from aligning all aspects of the wind-up and establishing a consistency is key.


A big part of pitching is understanding the situation. The pitcher needs to also understand his own abilities and know how he wants to approach each hitter.


The key to better accuracy and more velocity is good mechanics, a strong arm and a well-conditioned pitcher will essentially produce accuracy and a consistent velocity.


An overall conditioning program is important. Adding strength and properly conditioning the entire body from the legs to the core to the arm will help the pitcher be able to maintain dynamic balance and good posture throughout the delivery.

Arm Care

Taking care of the arm is top priority especially at a young age. Young athletes are still growing and developing and we want to assure we protect their arms by establishing good pitching mechanics, limiting their weekly pitch counts and assuring proper arm rest.

Pitching Lessons

Our goal is to provide the players the proper tools in all aspects of pitching so they can have the best opportunity for success. Pitching lessons will include;

  • Preparation and warm-up: Therapy band routine and stretching
  • Mechanic work: Develop proper mechanics to develop a healthy arm
  • Proper mental mindset and field awareness: Knowing the situation
  • Bullpens
  • Pitcher Fielding Practice
  • Fielding the position; Pickoffs, Ground balls, bunts, J-Drills

Private Pitching Lesson Details

  • Lesson packages are available in 1, 5, 10, or 15 lessons
  • All lessons are 1/2 hour in length
  • Players can use multiple lessons from their package on the same day if desired
  • Flexible scheduling available
  • Siblings can share the same lesson package
  • Lessons do not expire

  • Over 15 years of Professional Baseball experience
  • Played 8 Years in Major League Baseball (MLB)
  • Signed with the Detroit Tigers as a non-drafted free agent in 1995
  • Posted a 0.00 ERA over his first 27.1 innings in the Majors & won Tiger’s Rookie of the Year in 2001
  • Also played professionally for the Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, & San Francisco Giants
  • Head of Baseball Operations at Clemente’s Baseball & Softball Academy
